DO I HAVE TO PURCHASE TICKETS IN ADVANCE?  

Yes, Tickets must be purchased in advance for all tours, tickets sell out quickly. To ensure that you get the desired day, time and number of tickets you need, please book in advance.

 

CAN I PAY WITH CASH? 

We do not accept cash the day of the tour. Tickets can only be purchased with Visa, Amex, or MasterCard or directly from our website.

 

DO I NEED TO PURCHASE A TICKET IF I AM NOT EATING? 

Everyone on the tour must purchase ticket (tasters and non-tasters).

 

CAN I GET A REFUND OR RESCHEDULE MY TOUR? 

Under normal circumstances, tours cannot be canceled or rescheduled. Once confirmed, your booking is non-refundable. However, if tours are canceled due to severe inclement weather (such as a storm or hurricane), we will be glad to reschedule your tour or refund your purchase.

 

CAN I BOOK A PRIVATE TOUR?

ARE THERE VEGETARIAN OPTIONS ON THE CULINARY TOURS? 

Yes, our tours offer vegetarian options however we cannot accommodate for food allergies such as lactose intolerant or gluten free.

DOES OUR FOODIE LEADER ACCEPT GRATUITIES? 

Gratuities are greatly appreciated, but not mandatory. The suggested industry standard is between 15% to 20%.

WILL THERE BE BATHROOM BREAKS? 

Yes, most of our locations have a public toilet for your convenience.

 

 

DOES THE TOUR END AT THE SAME PLACE WE MET? 

Not always, but your guide will always see you back to your starting place.

 

ARE CAMERAS ALLOWED AND WHAT SHOULD I BRING? 

Yes, cameras are welcomed just be courteous of other tour participants if you plan on publishing your photos. However video cameras and tape recorders are not permitted. We suggest your wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Grenada is a hot country, and temperatures go up during the summer months, so comfortable and cool clothing is recommended. Sun visors, caps or hats and sunglasses are also recommended. Don’t forget your sunscreen and water. And, bring your appetite. 

 

GUEST BEHAVIOR. 

Guests are expected to be respectful of others on the tour and of the tour guide. Obnoxious inebriation and/or inappropriate conduct will NOT be tolerated and if a guest continues to act in a disorderly, offensive way they will be asked to leave the tour and will NOT receive a refund.

 

WHAT ELSE SHOULD I KNOW? 

Grenada Culinary Tour acts only as an agent for the companies that supply food and beverages. We cannot be held responsible for delays, accidents, losses, injuries, and delays caused by persons engaged in carrying out the services provided by the vendors. Grenada observes Atlantic Standard Time and does NOT use Daylight Savings Time.

Grenada Culinary Tours will NOT be responsible if you are late for a tour because you were unaware of the local time zone.

 

WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS TOUR? 

If you are an overnight visitor to Grenada, we highly recommend you take the Savor the Spice food tour at the start of your visit. You can then return to these ’tried & tested’ eateries for the remainder of your stay. Omitting the need for time consuming internet searches for the best restaurants in Grenada.

 If you do have problems walking any distance then this may not be the most enjoyable way to spend your time.

DO WE JUST WALK AROUND SAMPLING FOOD?

No. Our tours also cover history and local culture.
